Last week at our Bible Study, I taught from the Bible (using The Final Quest, by Rick Joyner) that we are all called to be good shepherds like Jesus. I was very explicit about warnings I and others have received in dreams - dreams which any good shepherd would share with his sheep for their safety. Surprisingly, three days later, it was discovered that the Bible Study recording had been terribly corrupted. Some people believe that because of the warning dreams that I explicitly talked about, the devil, or the ‘wolf’, supernaturally destroyed the recording. Those people could be right.

Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them” (John 10:11-12). I am an under-shepherd over God’s sheep; the word ‘Pastor’ is defined as ‘shepherd’. That means I am responsible for the safety of some of God’s sheep. When God shows me that a wolf is hurting (and increasingly devising more wicked schemes to hurt) the sheep, there is nothing else I can do but warn the sheep and take on the wolf. If the wolf is seemingly stronger than I am, then I must be ready to do what Jesus, the good Shepherd, did –give my life for the sheep. It is for this reason, that I have risked my ministry. I want to be known in heaven not as a politician, but a good shepherd who risked his ministry for the sake of those who were entrusted to him.

Since July 2017, I have been receiving dreams from heaven that a certain preacher is financially abusing God’s children, among other things. When I sounded the alarm as God would expect a good shepherd to, some of the sheep turned against me. A day is coming, however, when they will realize that I was just trying to be a good shepherd. Nevertheless, other sheep, discerning that I had no evil motives in what I said, took the matter to Jesus, the great Shepherd. Because they were sincere in their inquiries, the Shepherd told them, in vivid dreams, that ‘shepherd’ Moses was right. They have since fled from the wolf.

Recently, an ewe which we called Williams, feeling awfully uncomfortable walked out of the above mentioned preacher’s meeting after just 30 minutes. Later that night, she had dreams where God was showing her that ‘things were bad’. On waking, she realized that it was her inner witness that had told her to leave the preacher’s meeting the previous day. She was very broken hearted because she had unreservedly trusted the preacher. Recalling several dreams she received last year, she realized that God had been warning her all along but she, like many other sheep, had been in denial.

How does this message apply to you? Ask yourself why your shepherd would risk his ‘ka’ tiny church by taking on a wolf seemingly stronger than him. Take the matter to God; He will show you things that resound with what your shepherd has been telling you since last year. Fast and pray, like the lady I wrote about last week; when she did, a dream came showing her that she was being financially raped. I am aware, however, that there are certain people God is not going to bother responding to. Why? Because He has already done so through the counsel of their shepherd, of others, and their own inner witness.

Secondly, realize that God has given you influence over some people who value your counsel. Therefore, in a sense, God expects you to be their good shepherd. Do not ever let harm come their way at your watch. Please understand that this is not specific to the preacher mentioned above, but it applies generally in all aspects of life. If God reveals something to you for their safety, wisely let them know. Otherwise, God will require their blood at your hand (Ezekiel 3).

Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood . . . savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock (Acts 20:26-29).

God bless you.

PS: A few hours after drafting this article, a friend who did not know what I had written, had me read Rick Joyner’s Word for the Week (Week 39, 2011) wherein he said:

“When I was in the military, there was a terrible consequence for sleeping on watch. This is because to do so jeopardized the whole ship . . . As the Lord warned, we should not fear what men think of us or try to do to us, but we must fear the Lord before whose judgment seat we will stand . . . On the Judgment Day every watchman who did not sound the alarm will be held accountable. Every shepherd who did not protect God’s people will be held accountable.”

Was this a coincidence? I think not. I believe it was a pat on the back, God confirming that what I had drafted was of Him, and that I am a good shepherd. Hopefully, this will cause my sheep to believe me and to take the warning to flee from the wolf very seriously.
