Empowered For The Master's Use

by Pastor Moses Musinguzi

We all are called to serve God in one way or another. And for our service to be acceptance unto Him (Hebrews 12:28), we need to be equipped with His supernatural empowerment, for humans hands can never serve Him (Acts 17:25). For God's part, He is ever willing to anoint us so that we are never in lack of what it takes to accomplish His purposes. What you require will always be supplied, and that, just on time. This I experienced recently and I want to share it with you, praying that you shall be greatly encouraged.

But let us first go back in history. Just after I got born again at the University, the Lord revealed to me that I would walk in the footsteps of my namesake Moses who delivered the children of Israel from the bondage in Egypt. The major thing He highlighted to me then was building Him a house; just like Moses constructed the tabernacle (Exodus 25:9). Many years later He expounded the revelation: "Moses was a writer, he penned the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. So you too will write for Me one day." Even though this instruction was clear, I still carnally vowed, "I will never write. I will use my mouth alone to proclaim God's Word to His people." Interestingly though when I listen to my recorded sermons, I cry for the many that enjoy listening to me. I sound really awful and my vocabulary is so narrow. I still need to remember that He chooses the foolish and weak to confound the wise and mighty (1 Corinthians 1:27).

Composition has always been a nightmare to me. Back in high school, I dreaded subjects like history, literature, and even English for they all required one to "write and write and write." I, therefore, fell in love with disciplines such as Mathematics and Chemistry which mostly necessitated scribbling either figures, abbreviations, or symbols. I admire people to whom writing is as simple as text messaging. I have high regard for authors like Rick Joyner who impart the understanding of deep spiritual truths with such simplicity and clarity.

Now, here is my short testimony. Towards the end of last month, I dreamt someone telling me that in December 2015 when Bishop David Oyedepo anointed me (in a dream), he not only appointed me the Financial Prosperity Overseer of Uganda, he also imparted in my spirit the ability to write for God. What I needed to serve Him better He had provided. Hallelujah and glory to His name.

It happened to me; it will happen to you too. If you do not have what it takes to fulfill God's will, He will give it to you at the right time. It is never too late to do something worthwhile for God, and He has never been late to give anyone the ability required for the task. Just make sure that you are faithfully using what you now have. For faithfulness will progressively elevate you to the higher phases of service unto God. And at each rung of the ladder of your spiritual journey, you will find tools made ready for you to acceptably serve Him.

Some gifts and abilities are already in you. You just have to discover them and put them to work under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Other graces will come just on time. Just remember this: The Master will make you ready for His use (2 Timothy 2:21); obviously you should be a willing vessel.

God bless you.
