I want to congratulate all of us upon clocking six years as a local church assembly. In this season of thanking God for all He has done for and in us, we should resolve to love Him even more during this our next ‘religious’ year. This is even more critical since this year we finally got to learn that Jesus is coming back soon in about 2034.

In December 2018, about three months after our fourth anniversary church service, I dreamt that I was pointing out to Joan Isoke a one Andrew Kezaala who was the best student in Primary Leaving Examinations in my class. Andrew’s hair was all snow white. Joan then told me, “Do you know what that snow white hair means? It is symbolic of the great wisdom with which you spoke at the church fourth anniversary service.”

The sermon for that fourth anniversary was that we should love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. By that dream which came months later, God was not only confirming that our anniversary sermon was from Him, but also reminding us that there is no greater wisdom than loving Him. Hallelujah!

Someone might now ask: “How do we love the Lord?” Jesus answered this question for us when He said, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me . . . If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word” (John 14:21, 23).

Amazingly, by a dream Joan Isoke had on 13th June 2019, God clearly demonstrated to us that loving Him means obeying His commandments. In the dream, Joan found herself in a church building. In there was Rick Joyner who did not want to be interrupted because he was in deep prayer. Joan wanted Rick to explain to her how she could love the Lord with all her heart. After waiting for sometime and realizing that Rick was not about to finish praying, she touched his shoulder. He immediately got up and asked her, “Joan, do you want to know how to love the Lord with all your heart?” She replied, “Yes.” Then while holding a Bible in his hands, Rick said to her, “Just do what this Bible says and you will have loved the Lord with all your heart." Hallelujah!

Therefore my dear brothers and sisters, let us strive to love our Lord even more during this ‘new’ year that has began for us. Let us also do so with the understanding that when He comes back soon – in about 2034 – He will usher us into His kingdom. For He said: “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:21-23).

Let me end by praying for you using Paul’s words: I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. (Philippians 1:9-11). Amen.
