I know of five LAT members who are celebrating the faithfulness of God. That all their testimonies happened last week must be God’s way of reminding the rest of us individually that He will bring to pass the promises He has given us. All we need to do is to believe Him.

Moses Tumusiime’s work station is finally Dubai. If you know his story like I do, you will surely attest that God indeed keeps His promises. Moses waited for a very, very long time and several opportunities to throw in the towel presented themselves. However, he kept the faith. Among the several dreams that he received encouraging him, was one in which he was told, “You will not be forgotten.” You too will not be forgotten – God is watching over His promise to you to fulfil it (Jeremiah 1:12).

Sam and Maureen had a baby last week after a while of waiting and believing God. While they waited, God was watching over His word to them to fulfil it; and He did, just as He will do for you. Hallelujah!

Charles and Denise are also celebrating the faithfulness of God. They too had a promise from God; and it came to pass because their and our God is faithful. How He brought much needed support in the form of human resource and finances, to the very last hour, is a testimony of His faithfulness. A couple of days before Charles’ victory, I dreamt that he had comfortably won a sprint competition. A certain detail therein got me uncertain about the authenticity of the dream. However, looking back, I can now see that God was giving Charles and Denise a promise which He then fulfilled just as He will do for you.

Again, God wants you to know that He is not a liar like human beings. As it is written, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” (Numbers 23: 19).

Since we all are children of Abraham, we must walk like he did. It is said of our father Abraham that when God promised him many descendants, he believed Him (Genesis 15:5-6). Over time, Abraham had valid reasons to disregard the promise of God; but he did not. He became impotent because of old age, and to make matters worse, his already barren wife entered menopause. However, the giant of faith – Abraham our father – kept the faith as an example to us. “Contrary to hope, in hope (Abraham) believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform” (Romans 4:18-21).

Amen.
