For two years now, it seems like I cannot preach anything else other than “Jesus is coming back soon. Repent and walk in holiness without which you will not see the Lord.” I really believe it is God who has kept me at just this one message. Rick Joyner’s recent face-to-face encounters (watch: https://youtu.be/uHtwGGNy2uQ) with the Lord confirm my belief.

Last month, while recovering from Covid-19, Rick Joyner had several face-to-face encounters. In one of them, Jesus told him that His Kingdom is coming soon. When Rick asked Jesus the most important thing we should do in preparation for His coming, He responded by saying, “Make disciples.”

Before His Ascension, Jesus gave us what we call the great commission when He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). In this commission, the disciples of the Lord are defined as those who observe His commandments. These are they that the Lord is returning for.

Christians who lightly esteem the commandments of the Lord, and their teachers, are playing with fire. The commandments of God, and their observance must seriously be taught in preparation for the coming of the Lord if Christians are to escape the wrath of God.

In the words of Jesus: “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:21-27).

Brethren, it is only the disciples of Jesus – those who observe His commandments – that will be worthy of His soon coming Kingdom. As we have read, ignoring the Lord’s commandments (sayings) is foolishness awaiting a sure “depart from Me you who practice lawlessness” (Matthew 7:23). Without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Therefore, we should be holy, consecrated to the Lord, by living according to His commandments. However, if we live according to the ways of the Devil, we shall just have opted out of the community of people Jesus calls His own – His disciples. We shall have freely sold ourselves to the Devil with whom we shall end up in hell.

A few years from now, there is coming the Great Tribulation. After that, there will come the rapture in which only the true disciples of Jesus – those who observe His commandments – will be whisked away to Heaven to escape the wrath of God. May you and I be the disciples Jesus is returning to take Home. Amen.

God bless you.

PS: Remember to go forth and make disciples unto Jesus, teaching them to observe everything that Jesus commanded.
