The Covid-19 pandemic brought with it severe economic and food supply hardships that are still with us today. World over, people are suffering, and many are going without food. Weather crises have worsened the bad situation by causing famines in many regions. Seeing that we are drawing closer to the return of the Lord Jesus, we as Christians should know that at a certain point in the near future, just as it is prophesied in the Bible, things will definitely get worse than they are. When those times of severe lack and hunger come, there will be people like Joseph who will be privileged by God to provide for His children. These privileged by God ‘Josephs’ are being appointed and prepared now – and you can have the honor of being one of them.

The Bible teaches us that in the days preceding Jesus’ return, “nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. (Yet) all these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:7-8). This implies that world economies will soon take a greater hit, resulting in severe poverty. However, there will be places and communities where God will take care of His own. He will achieve this by the wealth He will have already put in the hands of His trusted ‘Josephs’. These individuals are currently being identified by Heaven. They are proving their suitability for the eternally honorable job of providing for God’s children in famine by their generosity now with the little they have. Because “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much,” these ‘Josephs’ are currently being enlisted to be entrusted with abundant riches since they are liberal distributors of the little they now have.

If you really want to survive the certainly coming unprecedented worldwide food and economic famine, and to be used like Joseph during that time, start today by caring for God’s people with what you have. Be faithful with the little in your hands, then God will entrust you with His wealth. Then you will thrive in difficult times, and you will sustain many in famine.

God bless you.
