Mrs. Margaret Babihuga Sabiiti Joins The Heavenly Cloud of Witnesses. Rachel Ashaba Wamai’s dear mom, Mrs. Margaret Babihuga Sabiiti, was buried yesterday. When I met with Rachel last week, the only comfort I could give her was finally disclosing a dream that one of us had last month. We hid this dream from Rachel, although it had a wonderful message. I must say Rachel was extremely blessed by the dream, because she was now very sure that her mom is in heaven with Jesus.
In that dream, Rachel’s mom was very sick in hospital. But when a certain lady came to see her, she was excited to see her pregnant. Rachel’s mom told the lady that this is what she had been waiting to see. She then went on to prophesy concerning the destiny of the unborn child. After that, her strength begun to fail. She evidently was departing – to heaven – having seen and done what had kept her here a little while longer. Glory to God!
Mrs. Sabiiti joins the great heavenly cloud of witnesses who cheer us on in our earthly walk with Jesus. As it is written concerning the saints who died, “. . . we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1). I am sure she will be among those in heaven who will once in a while tune in to watch our church services. I say this because of a dream that Priscilla Mubbala who used to worship with us had in 2015 (see: Dream: LAT watched from heaven). In that dream, her late father who was born again showed her a tablet that belonged to ‘Pastor Moses’, and told her that, “I am always watching you on this.” I believe Rachel’s mom will also be doing the same – watching Rachel and all of us from heaven whenever we congregate. Hallelujah!
For the rest of us, this should encourage us to witness to our parents to sincerely accept Jesus as Savior, or for those who already did that, to tell them to live righteous lives that please Jesus. Our parents who are not saved are going to hell when they die! So will those who got saved but live ungodly lives like stealing government money. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?” (1 Corinthians 6:9). I am sure you do. Rachel’s mom was a Christian in word and in deed. That is why she is now in heaven. Let us therefore do what we can to ensure that our parents who are still alive also live lives worthy of joining the great heavenly cloud of witnesses, which Mrs. Margaret Babihuga Sabiiti is now a part.
God bless you.
