On Saturday 27th July 2024, Christine Mugimba had an amazing dream where our church was literally overflowing with people. I believe we are on time to become all that God said of us. In addition to humility that we previously here addressed, we also need to pursue obedience, because it also will ensure that we don’t fall from where we are destined.
I can confidently say that LAT has gotten to where it is now, at the verge of the physical manifestation of her promises that include exponential numerical growth, primarily because of obedience to God. On a certain night a few weeks before LAT begun, I went to bed late after listening to Bishop David Oyedepo’s messages on supernatural church growth. Then in the morning, a friend paid me a very short visit. In fact he didn’t enter the house when I opened the door for him. He simply gave me Oyedepo’s book, “30 Years of Ministry”, while he told me that he had dreamt at night when he was giving me that book! This was indeed amazing.
When I read that book, I got the only one message which I believe God wanted me to learn regarding building Him a church. That one message was “obedience”. I saw that Bishop Oyedepo’s great ministry accomplishments at that time, like building the 50,000-seat church auditorium, the largest in the world then, was simply because of obeying God by doing only what God told him to do. I therefore decided at that time that I will always obey God as far as ministry work is concerned. That I have done, and Heaven bears me witness. (Only God knows what this has cost me!)
It’s because I have ensured that LAT obeys God just as I was instructed, that I can also confidently say according to the word of the Lord, that LAT is going to become the largest, and leading church in Kampala. And when we get there, we must keep doing what got us there – obedience. That way, we shall always be pleasing unto God, and we shall never fall.
Let us continue PUSH-ing for whatever God lays on our hearts during this transition period.
God bless us.
