After two Sundays of studying the history of Israel as related to God’s faithfulness to her, and shortly before we continued that study last Sunday, Israel experienced a horrific attack. As Jodi Rudoren a female Jewish journalist aptly described the attack, “More Jews were murdered on Saturday than on any single day since the Holocaust – inside the Jewish homeland, in the nation-state that is supposed to be our safe haven, on the watch of the strongest military in the Middle East, by terrorists whose tactics can only be described as barbaric.”

In our Marriage Fellowship last Sunday, the topic of discussion was the role of money in marriage. It was noted without any objection that money is a medium of exchange by which we are able to acquire many things, tangible and intangible, which things help to make marriages happy and stable.
