By faith, Enoch walked with God and was translated so that he did not see death. But he had this testimony that he pleased God and without faith it is impossible to please God. You too, despite your day-to-day responsibilities, can obtain the same testimony as Enoch, a father to Methuselah and others (Genesis 5:21-24) did.

We walk by Faith and not by sight. That springs from the fact that this God that we are walking with is invisible; you cannot see Him with your physical eyes. To walk with Him, you must have an awareness that is more than what is afforded by your physical senses.

The first and essential thing in walking with God is belief - belief in first and foremost His existence and secondly, His goodness.

Hebrews chapter 11 talks about people who walked with God by faith, as exercised in their day-to-day lives. Through the interventions of God in their day-to-day lives, they got to encounter God. In other words, this chapter is giving us an encounter of everyday lives of people in which by turning their situations into an opportunity for an intervention of God, they got to encounter the God of those interventions. And the God of those interventions that they encountered therefore was the God that they got to walk with. All these situations became an opportunity  to see that GOD IS and that HE IS A REWARDER.

We have an opportunity to turn our situations into those in which God can be seen to be and can be seen to be good. Walk with God by believing that HE IS in your situation and that HE IS A REWARDER in your situation.
