Welcome back from the wonderful service that we had last Sunday. Surely God blessed us with His Presence which was ushered in by the extended awesome praise and worship session. Then came the preaching of the word of God – a word in due season – that was delivered by Mrs. Christine Mugimba. Yet with all that, God was not done with blessing us!
Before the service was closed, we had another praise and worship session, which involved blessing everyone in attendance by the laying on of hands. Then followed the closing prayer, which I felt was longer than usual for the person who was praying. I sensed though that that was of the Spirit. As that praying was going on, one of us who is uniquely gifted to see in the spirit was having a vision of what was actually happening in the unseen realm. In the vision, he who was praying the closing prayer was extremely tall; his head literally touched the ceiling of the hall. The rest of the congregation which was all dressed in pure white looked so tiny in comparison. As the person praying for us stretched out his arms, they too were extremely long, and his fingers which looked like wings, spread from one end of the hall to the other.
This vision was in sync with the written word in Numbers 6:22-27: And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The LORD bless you and keep you: The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”’ “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
Surely we all, present and absent, were blessed of God last Sunday. We thank Him for that.
God bless you.
