Exactly four days after having a praise and worship service to celebrate our church's fifth anniversary, Mrs. Esther Mayani dreamt that we were having another praise and worship service. Close to a month later, she had another dream that carried the exact same message. It was clear that God needed another round praise and worship from us. So, we decided to obey Him.
We could have held that praise and service two weeks after the second dream. But we held it three weeks later, when our then great worship leader, Ms. Juliana Nantaba, was back in the country. But before that day came, I kept wondering why God was asking us for another praise and worship service, just after the one of the anniversary. His response came to me the day before as I was watching an Arsenal match and simultaneously praying in tongues.
God said to me that, "When Abraham obeyed and offered unto Me his one and only begotten son Isaac, I made an oath to him that by all means I will multiply his descendants to be as numerous as the stars in the sky, and numerous as the sand by the seashore, and I will without fail bless all nations through him (Gen. 22:16-18). Tomorrow, when you too offer unto Me the best which you have in your church - worship - I will also make an oath to you to the effect that you will without fail become a very large church to the measure which I specified more than once, and you will by all means be 'Christ for The Nations'. By that oath, nothing will ever be able to fail those promises." Interestingly, at that same exact time, God showed me that Abraham referred to the offering of his son to God as 'worship' (Gen. 22:5), the exact thing He was requesting of us!
The following day on Sunday 27th October 2019, exactly seven years ago today, God made an oath that by all means we shall grow so large as a church, to the measure that He more than once specified, and that we shall take Christ to the nations of earth. The next day on Monday, He supernaturally confirmed to me that He had indeed made an oath to us. The verse He used was Isaiah 14:24 which says that, "The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, 'Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand.'"
This is why we should love and celebrate the 27th of October. For on that day, God wrote our destiny in stone! We have a sure word of prophecy, one that is immutable and fail-proof! Hallelujah! God is indeed worthy of our true worship. Let us continue to offer it to Him.
God bless you.
