Many words of knowledge came to us this year that we had entered our “Promised Land” as a church. These revelations came especially through dreams that were undeniably from God. One particular aspect which God highlighted severally concerning that Promised Land was the numerical church growth which He said had to happen.

Regarding that growth, Sunday 10th and Tuesday 12th December 2023 are notable and memorable days for us. That Sunday, the church attendance was such as we have not seen since 2018. I was even told that during praise and worship, before the children left for their service, several were without seats. When the following day I inquired of the Lord whether that record church attendance was the start of the numerical growth, He responded with a resounding yes by a dream He gave me that Tuesday morning. (I believe many of you have listened to that dream).

Now that the growth has started and it is going to increase dramatically as God said (see Entering Our Promised Land, Part 23 (20th Sept 2023) (lat.church), we should expect almost everything to change. The operation of a small church is definitely different from that of a very large one. Therefore, we should ready ourselves for new beginnings in almost everything we have been doing.

But this one thing mustn’t change with our church – the devotion to God. Our obedience to Him must remain a non-negotiable. In all that we do, we must be God-centered, doing everything to please Him and Him alone. It is this attitude that has brought us this far, and it is what will enable us as a church to fulfil and to see all God’s will. Therefore we must by all means keep that attitude. In other words, we must remain known in heaven as The One Thing Church (see We Are The One-Thing Church (27th Jan 2021) (lat.church)).

We are in our Promised Land. Let us be ready to see in 2024 more of what this really means. The God who has brought us this far will continue to be with us, as long as our devotion to Him remains steadfast. “The LORD is with you while you are with Him” (2 Chronicles 15:2). Then we shall experience more of Him in the “good land” that He has given us.

God bless you.
