During the time when the late Speaker, Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah was hospitalized in the United States of America, tribal sentiments were unfortunately sparked off among Ugandans. When he sadly passed away, these sparks of tribalism were fanned into flame. Because oftentimes the condition of a nation depicts the condition of the Church, the ungodly divisions among Ugandan tribes can to a great degree be remedied by the Church if it gets its act together.

Last Sunday, while our Juliana Nantaba closed the service (which she had also led so wonderfully), and at the same time powerfully led the closing song, I couldn’t but be amazed at how multi-gifted by God she is! And yet she was not keeping her gifts to herself, but was also using them to bless the people of God. At that moment, I thought about reminding us that when the Lord blesses us in this season as He has already promised, we should not forget to bless others with those same blessings (gifts), if they are sharable. God oftentimes blesses us so that we might also be a blessing.
