When we sang 'In Moments Like These' on Sunday, I was especially touched by the line 'I love you Lord'. While singing that line from the depth of my heart, I sensed the Spirit saying, "You love Me by obeying My commands." I responded by saying, "Yes, Lord. I will build Your house."
Last week, I admonished us to stay alive in Christ Jesus by not departing from Him. The two examples I gave of the ladies who walked away from the Lord confirm the Scriptures that there is a sin that leads to spiritual death (1 John 5:16). We also saw that if one was once enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, partook of the Holy Spirit, and tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, that person cannot be restored to salvation if they fall away (Hebrews 6:4-6). Their destiny is the lake of fire.
