We finally made ten years as a church. For this we give God the glory. But I must say that the greater, or even the only testimony, is that our work unto the Lord for the last ten years has been commended by Him. This He has time and again, but more so this past year, made known to us mostly in dreams. Of course we acknowledge that we are what we are unto God – a church in whom He is well pleased – by His grace. Hallelujah!
It has been a journey of faith and obedience unto God. From the onset, we resolved as a church that we shall obey God, and only do what He tells us to do. We can’t say that we have been perfect. However the report of the Lord – the only report worth believing – is that we have done very well in obeying Him. Hence the word He spoke to us in April that He is going to reward us. This word that came by a sermon on 14th April, was attested by a dream I had a few days later on 17th April, and by a dream Joan Isoke had on 24th April.
Going forward, we choose to stick with the same strategy – hearing and obeying God. We choose to remain in a hearing position, by maintaining a lifestyle of prayer and worship, and “yieldedness” to God. If what we hear from Him needs to be followed up with action, that we shall do. And if acting on that which we have heard seems difficult, we seek His help, instead of disobeying Him. We are a house belonging to God. Therefore, we can do nothing else in His house other than what He the Owner of the house wants to be done. Then we shall continue to receive God's commendation, and His rewards.
God bless you.
