Two days ago on Monday, the last living Israeli hostages were released from Gaza by the Palestinian terrorists. This brought great joy to the majority of true Christians, causing them to glorify God who had made it possible. Not surprising, was a group of people who pretend to be Christians who instead celebrated the release of thousands of Palestinian criminals.
We should always stand with Israel, because that is what God expects of us His children the Christians. We side with Satan when we behave otherwise.
On a certain catholic-owned radio station in Uganda, the main international news that Monday was not the release of innocent hostages, but rather the release of Palestinian terrorists. As I said, this wasn’t surprising. You see, the Roman Catholic Church is anti-Israel. (That is not to say that all Roman Catholics are against Israel). The Catholic Church holds to a doctrine of demons called Replacement Theology, which teaches that the church replaced Israel when Israel rejected Jesus Christ. This doctrine originated from the Devil who hates Israel because it gave birth to Jesus, his archenemy.
In Revelation 12, we see the dragon (Satan) persecuting the woman with twelve stars (Israel made up of the 12 tribes) who birthed the male child (Jesus) who will rule all nations. And it is not only Israel that was persecuted by Satan, but also Christians, for it is them “who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17). This teaches us that when Christians are anti-Israel, they are basically taking sides with their enemy the Devil! This shouldn’t be the case with us. We should always be on God’s side, standing in unity with Israel.
