Beginning last week on Saturday, I felt led to read and meditate on Bible verses that address financial and material provision. Thereafter, I received financial provision that I hadn’t seen coming. This happened just when I was about to run out of money. I still feel the urge to read those verses. When I do read them, I experience the joy of the Lord. This has made me think that during this time, God wants us to know that if we are in need, He will provide for us.

Among the verses I have been reading and meditating on include Deuteronomy 8:18 (. . . . it is He who gives you power to get wealth), and Proverbs 10:22 (The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it). I personally believe that I am destined to become rich and wealthy, because God told me so several times. I also believe that many of you are called to the same. At the same time, I believe, based on the Word of God, that since God is a father, He takes care of His own, including those who do not have the calling to have lots of financial resources.

I believe that God wants to tell us that He shall supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Therefore, let us trust Him to provide for us based on the fact that He is a caring and faithful Father. Let us meditate on His word, specifically the verses that talk about His provision. Surely it shall be well with us the righteous, for we shall eat the fruit of our doings (Isaiah 3:10).

God bless you.
