When I really deeply think about why we need the Presence of God, I can only think of one reason that matters now, and will matter for all eternity. My conclusion is drawn from the understanding of why God created us.
God created us, first and foremost for Him to fellowship with us. It therefore follows that man’s greatest need is to satisfy His Creator, by acting out why he, man, was created – fellowshipping with the Creator. This therefore means that man’s greatest need, recognized or not, is to have fellowship with God – and that is why we first and foremost need to experience the Presence of God.
Every now and again we get deceived, or deceive ourselves that fulfilment in life will come when we get more ‘things’. But the truth of the matter is that nothing will ever satisfy us other than the experiencing of God’s manifest Presence.

Just as Joan Isoke taught, God deeply desires to fellowship with us. This is because that is why He created us. We understand from the Scriptures that He always used to fellowship with Adam in the cool of the day. And when He told Moses to build Him a tabernacle, His reason was: “That I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8). That is why, concerning the coming New Earth, it was prophesied that, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God” (Revelation 21:3).
You and I need the Presence of God because we were made for that. Minus the Presence of God in our lives, we shall live a life without joy and fulfilment, even if we might have all the things there are. Last Adam Tabernacle needs the Presence of the Last Adam, for whom we were established.
God bless you.
