Once again, one of my jobs is to keep tabs concerning every major word which God gives us as a church. Last Saturday 2nd November was exactly twenty four years since God spoke to me that I will one day build Him a house that will be of great magnificence, fame, and splendor in the sight of all nations (1 Chronicles 22:5). That house happens to be our church – us. We are not yet of great magnificence, fame, and splendor in the sight of all nations, but we shall soon be so, because of God’s “unfailing faithfulness”.

Up until now, we have done well in laboring with God towards becoming magnificent, famous and splendid, as per God’s will for us. As you all know, this report is not man’s opinion, but God’s. If we continue being obedient to Him, doing everything for the glory of His name, then He will bring to pass what He promised. God is faithful, He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). But man oftentimes has a God-assigned role to play in bringing about the fulfillment of God’s promises. We have thus far done our part, and we should continue doing so. In a short while, we are going to see 1 Chronicles 22:5 fulfilled – to the glory of God. “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry” (Hebrews 10:37). He is coming to perform His “unfailing faithfulness” towards us.

God bless you.
