The second thing we all need in order to understand the Bible is to read and acquaint ourselves with the beginning of the ‘story’, in particular the first five books which are collectively called the Torah (instruction), the Law, or Moses.
The first thing needed in order to understand the Bible is to understand what the Bible is all about. This is achieved by reading the first and last three chapters of the Bible as we saw last week.
