It is only modern slang terminology that can help me best describe the awesome service we had on Sunday: The service was ‘for World Cup’ from start to finish!

The songs Praise and Teddy chose, and the order they flowed were really ‘for World Cup’. And Praise’s leading was super-anointed. Jade is surely learning from the best of the best. The sound that came from Albert’s, Bruce’s and Andrew’s instruments was not of this world. These guys were ‘not alone’ – the Spirit of worship was upon and at work in them. The spiritual atmosphere was therefore set for what was to come next.

First it was baby dedication, followed by the interpretation of two dreams and ultimately Joan’s great sermon on living a life of holiness.

Concerning the baby dedication ceremony, Sarah Nantongo’s testimony says it all:

At the dedication of the Mugimbas’ baby, Pastor requested us to stretch forth our hands and start praying. The moment I closed my eyes, I saw in a flash a bright light radiating from besides the person who controls the projector and over the heads of the parents and the people who accompanied them. It was a single beam of very bright light. It lasted only a moment and was gone the moment I opened my eyes.

We then proceeded to dream interpretation. The first dream we tackled was one I had on Saturday 30th November. In the dream, I and other students who included Kwesiga Steven and Ddembe Andrew had sat our Ordinary Level exams at St. Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) and passed. Kwesiga was already on his way to King’s College Budo for Advanced Level education instead of returning to SMACK. He was going to do MEG. I also planned to do MEG at Budo and tried persuading Ddembe to come with me. The headmaster of Budo was Brother Joseph Tinkasimire who in reality was the headmaster of SMACK. I went to his office to seek admission, where I found other students who also wanted to join Budo. They included Mark and Rachel Wamai.

We understood that this dream is first and foremost a message to LAT members. That is why Rachel and Mark featured therein. Steven Kwesiga and Ddembe Andrew were symbolic of our own Albert Kwesiga and Andrew Ssebugwawo. Going from O to A Level (and from SMACK to Budo) means that we are going to a higher financial level. You are aware that MEG is a combination done by secondary school students who plan to do business and finance-related courses at University. In fact, I had actually given Andrew a prophecy about financial prosperity on Thursday using Psalm 112. Our elevation to a higher financial level is a sure deal because the headmaster who in reality re-admitted Kwesiga Steven, Ddembe Andrew and I back to SMACK for A Level was the same headmaster of Budo in the dream. Financial increase for LAT is therefore a must according to heaven. Hallelujah!

I had the second dream on Thursday 28th November. It is actually very similar to the first. In this dream, Sam Isoke and I as well as other students had passed exams. We were therefore admitted to University to study electrical engineering. Ours was a small class. Our teacher was Prof. Dr. Ezra Suruma who is a renown economist and former Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. He had a white sheet of paper on which different diagrams were drawn. These diagrams had areas that were shaded black and those not shaded. Prof. Suruma was teaching us to distinguish the shaded from the unshaded parts. It was a very easy class.

The interpretation of this dream is similar to the first one. Sam, and the small class that LAT is have in reality spiritually advanced to a higher financial level. This is surely a message about financial increase because Prof. Suruma is a financial expert. That a financial expert was teaching electrical engineering should point us to Deuteronomy 8:18: And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power (electricity) to get wealth. Glory be to the name of Jesus!

While we basked in the presence of God that our worship team had ushered in, thankful for the financial increase we are going to experience, Joan admonished us to pursue holiness. The unction and simplicity of her message was evidence that God was calling us to live holy lives even as He richly blesses us.

Then Juliana “proclaimed the Lord for His mighty power and awesome majesty.” She made it very difficult to close the service because the presence of the Last Adam filled His Tabernacle.

What a service it was! Let us believe God for more of the same. And may Sandra continue to do the wonderful work of leading such glorious services.

Amen.
