Use Your Indescribable Gift

Not many things in the Bible are specifically referred to as indescribable or unspeakable. I actually have come across just one thing defined as such. It's a gift that every child of God has. When put to use, it can effortlessly bring in one's life anything they desire and even that which they have never concerned themselves with. King Solomon mastered it and it brought him God from heaven, wisdom, honour and riches (1 Kings 3:3-13). Actually, if one excelled at it, he gets the spiritual ability to bring money in people's lives as we shall see later on.

The wonderful gift of giving is what we are talking about. 2 Corinthians 9:15 says, "Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift." When giving was that specially defined many bible scholars and preachers could not take the Word of God that plain; so they taught and teach that the indescribable gift is Jesus. But the context of that verse clearly shows that the divine Author was talking about giving.

Because giving is indescribable and unspeakable, the person who practices it has a special place in God's heart. This is well brought out in 2 Corinthians 9:7 especially with the Classic Edition of the Amplified Bible. It says, "Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving]." This surely is one of the most dear verses in the Bible. Do you want to be greatly prized by God? Simple, become addicted to the giving drug.

Many years ago, I discovered I had the gift of giving just like all Christians. This happened after I heard an audible Voice telling me, "If you joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving, you will never see financial depression in your life." Compliance to that heavenly instruction has brought me uncountable blessings which space and time cannot permit me to tell. Believe me, it works. According to God I was so faithful to His instruction that He found it fitting to anoint me as the Financial Prosperity President of Uganda. This simply means that I have the responsibility of leading His children into the promised land of financial wellbeing since I once successfully travelled through the wilderness that often accompanies obedience. But more than that, I also now have the anointing to impart the power to prosper. For I was faithful with unrighteous mammon, now true riches - the power to get wealth has been committed to me (Luke 16:11).

My testimony and those of numerous givers like Solomon will be yours too; you will become rich, honor will be your portion, and what the Bible calls the principal thing - wisdom (Proverbs 4:7), will be granted unto you. Actually a few years ago, Jesus appeared to Mariam Kitunzi and told her how I was so wise; He then told her to tell people to take me very seriously! I believe the Godly wisdom I possess is to a large extent because I am an addicted giver.

In summary, you have the INDESCRIBABLE gift of giving. Use that UNSPEAKABLE grace and you will be greatly prized by God, and material rewards will progressively abound in your life as a testimony that it's more blessed to give than to receive, Acts 20:35. For one person gives freely yet gains even more, another withholds unduly but comes to poverty; a generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed (Proverbs 11:24, 25).

God bless you.
