When we are “praying until something happens”, there is often room for ‘reminding’ God of what He promised you, and asking Him why there is a seeming delay in the fulfilment of those promises. God doesn’t forget, but calls us to put Him in remembrance (Isaiah 43:26). And, He readily entertains and answers questions (Jeremiah 33:3).

In July last year, I set apart three days to pray and fast concerning our church. The praying was all about putting God in remembrance of His promises to us, and asking Him why I wasn’t seeing any sign that we were going to witness what He promised. As expected, God responded and answered my question. He spoke to me by the still small voice that “All is well.” A week later, He gave a dream to Dr. Dennis Mugimba that reiterated and therefore confirmed what He had spoken to me. A month later, He again spoke to us by Dennis’ dream that we shall indeed “blossom”. And still in September and December, He reiterated His good word to us.

Therefore, let your PUSH-ing have some “reminding” and “asking”. Put God in remembrance of what He promised you, and also ask Him all the questions you have concerning those promises.  He will respond to each of your concerns, just as He did with mine last year.

God bless you.
