The Lord promises in His word to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). This is a valid reassurance because as we continue walking in obedience to His commands, we will be tested. He who reassures us was Himself tested in the wilderness, (Matthew 4:1-10) and He overcame. His example teaches us that it is only by hiding the word of God in our hearts that we will be able to withstand the tempter and his agents. May you be encouraged as you listen.
