After the Fall, God told the serpent that his seed would be crushed by the woman’s Seed (Genesis 3:15). The woman's Seed is Christ (Galatians 3:16). God's assurance to the serpent in Genesis that his seed would be crushed marked the beginning of the enmity between the Devil and God's chosen people, Israel, the descendants of Abraham God's friend (Isaiah 41:8). We too as co-heirs with Christ are children of the promise and automatically hated by the Devil. That is why as Christians, we must never enjoin ourselves to the Devil's camp that hates Israel.
