After Jesus has reigned on earth for a thousand years, He will hand over the Kingdom to God the Father. The Father will then reign forever and ever in the new heavens and new earth, in which the effects of the curse will never be experienced again. The righteous will forever dwell with God, and they will always see His face. In order for us to be counted worthy to live with God eternally, we must live in righteousness now.
