One amazing attribute of Jesus is "God With Us" (Emmanuel). Although He is always invisibly with us, oftentimes He chooses to visibly appear unto us either as a person we know, or as a stranger. It is His wish that we recognize Him when He visibly manifests Himself. He also doesn't mind us praying for Him to visibly appear unto us.
