We should pray with the understanding, but much more with the spirit (in tongues). This is a better way to pray because in so doing, although we shall be praying in a language foreign to our mind, the Holy Spirit will be giving our spirit exactly what God wants us to pray. Hindrances to, and falsehoods about praying in tongues are addressed in this teaching.
