In Deuteronomy 13:1, mention is made of people called “a dreamer of dreams”. These are individuals uniquely gifted to receive communications from God by way of dreams. At LAT, we have several such persons. By their true revelations, many, if not all of us, have received hope and guidance from God. Even the church leadership has often known God’s will for the church by these dreamers of dreams. I therefore call upon us to appreciate these our brethren, through whom God has reached out to us with direction, comfort, and hope.

Unknown to many, Robin Nanyanzi is one of the dreamer of dreams in LAT. I have known her in this regard since 2015/6 before she disappeared from us for a very long time, but later resurfaced. Her most recent dream that she shared last Thursday was a call from God for us to exercise frugality so as to survive through the current nationwide financial crisis.

Esther Mayani is another notable dreamer. Every time she has a dream to share, I get excited and pay careful attention to her because almost always, her dreams are from the Father. Her most recent dream for LAT that I know of was last week. She dreamt that the church was full to capacity and we had to pay for extra church service time. What really blessed me in that dream was the fact that one of the people who was in the service exclaimed how wonderful the sermon was because it was calling us to love God. (Remember that loving God means obeying Him. As it is written in Deuteronomy 11:1, “love the LORD your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.” Even Jesus said in John 14:15 that: “If you love Me, keep My commandments”.) Esther’s dream makes me feel like preaching about loving (obeying) God this Sunday. At the same time, it encourages me to know that our never-ending ‘talk’ about obedience, which probably some of you are finding monotonous and boring, is actually spot on and commended by Heaven.

Then there is Joan Tumuhairwe muka Isoke. She is really a blessing to LAT by her dreaming. She might one day catch up with Dr. Dennis Mugimba who it seems, instead of sleeping at night, just dreams for LAT, its members, other individuals, Uganda, and the nations!  Interestingly, Dennis’ gifting is now operating in his wife and children, and we often benefit from their revelations. Glory be to God for Joan and the Mugimbas. Hallelujah!

The gift of God that you respect and appreciate is the one you benefit from. We at LAT believe that God speaks by dreams (among other ways) and endeavor to obey whatever message they carry. This must be the reason why dreams abound in us, especially through dreamers like Robin, Esther, Joan, and the Mugimbas. And we not only love the dreams, but also our dreamers. We sincerely appreciate them for sharing in time whatever they dream for our personal and corporate benefit.

Time and space do not permit me to write about other dreamers among us. (Some weeks ago, a sister in the Lord who was hiding from us a blessing she had received from God was shocked to learn that people in church were discovering her secret through dreams. So she ‘resignedly’ told me that, “In LAT you cannot hide anything!”). Today I thought to specifically call us to appreciate Robin, Esther, Joan, and the Mugimbas for being a blessing to us.

God bless you.

PS: Remember to be frugal, and to love (obey) God, just as our dreamers communicated.
